Optimus Education’s MAT Excellence Awards celebrate the organisations and individuals making a lasting impact across education.
Recognising excellence across areas including inclusion, sustainability, governance and digital innovation, the awards shine a spotlight on the work taking place across the trust sector and the leaders driving meaningful change for pupils and communities.
Tiffany Beck OBE, Chair of Trustees at Maritime Academy Trust and Head of Education at PLMR said:
'Judging this year’s awards was genuinely inspiring. It was encouraging to see so many trusts combining a clear moral purpose with thoughtful, evidence-informed practice to make a real difference for pupils and their communities. What stood out most was the spirit of collaboration and openness, with trusts learning from one another and sharing what works. This speaks to a sector that is maturing, thinking deeply about how to tackle challenges and committed to continuous improvement.'
Sir Steve Lancashire added:
'It’s a real pleasure to be involved with the MAT Excellence Awards. They create a platform that not only celebrates excellence but also shines a light on the incredible work happening across the sector’.
The awards continue to recognise the trusts leading the way in collaboration, innovation and excellence, while celebrating the people helping to shape the future of education.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 11 June in London, so stay tuned!
